Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. During periods of high order volume, shipments may be slightly delayed.

Shipping Rates & Delivery
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the shipping method and destination. Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the carrier and location.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days

  • Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.

Shipping Area
Big Cat Audio currently ships within the United States.

14-Day Return Policy
Big Cat Audio accepts returns within 14 days of the item’s delivery date.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be returned within 14 days of delivery.

  • The item must be in the same condition it was received, unless it arrived damaged or defective.

  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and included items must be returned with the product.

Returns that do not meet these requirements may be refused or subject to additional deductions.

Restocking Fee for Musical Equipment
Due to the nature of musical instruments and professional audio equipment, a 15% restocking fee will apply to returned items including, but not limited to:

  • Guitars and bass guitars

  • Amplifiers and speaker cabinets

  • Effects pedals and rack gear

  • Studio equipment and recording hardware

  • DJ equipment

  • Any other musical instruments or professional audio gear

This restocking fee helps cover inspection, testing, cleaning, repackaging, and potential loss in market value once an item has been opened or handled.

Condition of Returned Items
Returns may be denied if an item shows signs that it has been:

  • Used beyond basic testing or inspection

  • Modified or altered in any way

  • Opened internally or tampered with

  • Returned with swapped parts or missing components

Additionally, items showing signs of use beyond normal testing may be denied for return.

All returned items are carefully inspected upon arrival. If the item is found to be in a different condition than when it was originally shipped, Big Cat Audio reserves the right to deny the return or issue only a partial refund.

Vintage Gear & Tube Amplifier Disclaimer
Many musical instruments and amplifiers—especially vintage equipment and tube amplifiers—contain components that naturally wear over time.

By purchasing these items, the customer acknowledges:

  • Vacuum tubes, capacitors, speakers, and other electronic components are consumable parts and may require maintenance or replacement.

  • Minor noise, tube microphonics, cosmetic wear, or age-related quirks may be present in vintage or used equipment.

  • Tube amplifiers should be operated properly and with appropriate speaker loads.

Damage caused by improper use, incorrect speaker loads, voltage issues, or user modification is not the responsibility of Big Cat Audio.
Tube swaps, component swaps, or internal modifications will immediately void return eligibility.

All Sales Final on Vintage Gear Over 20 Years Old
Vintage gear over 20 years old (or as otherwise indicated) is sold as-is and not eligible for return. Customers should carefully review all listings and photos before purchase.

Serial Numbers & Fraud Prevention
All musical instruments and equipment are recorded by serial number at the time of sale. This is done to prevent fraud and unauthorized returns. Returns may be denied if serial numbers do not match records.

Chargeback Protection Clause
By purchasing from Big Cat Audio, you acknowledge that any chargebacks or disputes filed with your payment provider without prior communication may result in denial of the refund, repossession of the item, and/or collection actions. Customers are encouraged to contact Big Cat Audio directly to resolve any issues.

Return Shipping & Fees

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Returns must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, an approved refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable restocking fees and original shipping charges, which are non-refundable.

Please allow several business days for the refund to appear depending on your payment provider.
