With book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, Camelot followed the songwriting team’s success with My Fair Lady. The original production earned four Tony Awards, including Best Actor in a Musical for Richard Burton. It also marked Robert Goulet’s Broadway debut, launching his enduring association with the role of Lancelot. (masterworksbroadway.com, masterworksbroadway.com, masterworksbroadway.com)

This digitally remastered CD contains 18 tracks, including “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “The Lusty Month of May,” “C’est Moi,” “How to Handle a Woman,” and “What Do the Simple Folk Do?” Orchestral accompaniment and the original cast’s performances make it a memorable addition for collectors of classic Broadway musicals, Julie Andrews recordings, and Lerner and Loewe scores.
